The Lava Lounge was absolutely perfect for two families. Our expectations were surpassed. It was our first time to Raglan and the sleeping lady lodgings was a wonderful first experience. Highlights, the spa, the view, the rope course, the flying fox, the glowworms, the great staff. Only possible improvements would be a dishwasher & washing machine. Bottomless towels & toiletries a bonus! The house was beautifully clean on our arrival, thanks.

Definitely the nicest place we've stayed in New Zealand. Sitting in the hot tub under the starts was simply deveine. Lava lounge gets the thumbs up from the 3 of us!

Awesome set up guys! This place has everything you could possibly need. The only thing we could think of that was missing was a hot, topless waiter to bring us drinks when we were in the spa!

Thank you for an awesome weekend. Every need was well catered for. Having the chefs cook for us was the highlight. As there were six of us the only thing missing was a sixth comfortable chair otherwise 10/10 PS having the massage lady come on site was a totally relaxing experience. Could more beauty treatments be offered? Kirsty Howser (answer: yes on the beauty treatments.. we now have available beauty treatments on-site as well as in Raglan Township)

What a great place! As a group of 10 females it was perfect - modern lots of outdoor living, a great spa, comfy beds and great appliances/kitchenware. I think it is fantastic for group bookings - would def recommend and plan to re book down the track. Hayley Cave - taken from Bookabach Review.

We anticipated having a super fun time surfing. Not only was the surf and beach better than we expected but the accommodations were excellent and the food was superlative.

To my family at Karioi, It's hard for me to write you how much I already miss this place - or should I say paradise and all of you. You guys are the reason why my plan to travel in NZ didn't really work out... I made the right decision to stay here for my whole 7 months.
